Stainless steel handles

Brushed stainless steel handles suit almost any kitchen and bathroom. Choose a silver handle in the round Heide or the square Weerd, from knob to 320 mm.

Why brushed stainless steel?

Brushed stainless steel has a matt steel sheen that matches stainless steel appliances, a steel tap and other fittings. It is rust-free and handles moisture, and fingerprints wipe away with a damp cloth. If you later paint the fronts another colour, the handle still fits.

Round or square

  • Heide · roundA round 10 mm bar on two legs, 32 mm from the door. Knob and 64 to 224 mm, in gold, matt black and stainless steel.
  • Weerd · squareA bracket with right angles and a 12 mm profile, 35 mm from the door. Knob and 64 to 320 mm, in matt black, gold and stainless steel.

Which centre-to-centre size do you need?

The centre-to-centre size is the distance between the centres of the two screw holes. Replacing old handles? Measure the holes in your cabinet door and choose the same size, so you don’t need to drill new holes. For new cabinets, this is a handy rule of thumb:

  • KnobSmall doors and narrow drawers: a single screw hole.
  • 64–96 mmSmall doors and drawers.
  • 128–160 mmStandard kitchen cabinets and drawers.
  • 192–224 mmTall cabinets and wide drawers.
  • 320 mmTall cabinets, wide drawers and wardrobes. Weerd only.

Frequently asked questions about handles

Is a silver handle made of stainless steel?

Yes. Our silver handles are brushed stainless steel: the silver colour is the colour of the steel itself, with a matt sheen.

Are the handles suitable for the bathroom?

Yes. Stainless steel is rust-free and handles moisture well. A soft, damp cloth is all you need to keep the handles clean.

How do I measure the centre-to-centre size?

Measure from the centre of one screw hole to the centre of the other. Choose the same size as your old handles and you can use the existing holes.

Are the screws included?

Yes. Every handle and knob comes with screws; you turn them from the inside through the cabinet door into the handle.
