Dark bronze with an antique look

This bronze 10 cm house number has a dark, antique bronze tone reminiscent of old door fittings. The Merum digits have a classic typeface with serifs, graceful curls and a mix of thick and thin strokes. The result is a house number with character that looks beautiful on a country-style home, a 1930s house or a wooden front door. Every digit looks like a crafted detail.

Beautiful on light wood and white render

The dark bronze colour looks best on a light or warm background: white render, light wood, yellow brick or a cream-coloured door. Together with bronze or black hinges, a classic door knocker or an antique outdoor lamp, the house number completes the picture. Your front door gets a warm, personal character.

Screwed flat into place

The digits are made of zinc and are fixed with the supplied screws through small holes in the digit. On wood you screw straight in; on stone, concrete or render you also use wall plugs that match the screws. Zinc does not rust, so the house number can stay outside for years. A drill, a screwdriver and possibly wall plugs are all you need.

Bronze and the charm of the past

For centuries, bronze and brass were the materials for door fittings, knockers and house numbers. A bronze house number with serifs therefore instantly evokes the atmosphere of an old townhouse or farmhouse. On a painted front door in green, blue or cream, or on an oak door, that look comes into its own. Add a classic door knocker or letterbox flap in the same tone, and everything comes together.

Also in black and silver

You order this bronze 10 cm house number per digit, from 0 to 9. If you love this classic typeface but are looking for another colour, there are also the Merum Black and the Merum Silver 10 cm.
