Classic digits in soft silver

This silver 10 cm house number combines a classic typeface with a soft, silver sheen. The Merum digits have serifs and graceful curves with thick and thin strokes, giving them a refined, old-fashioned charm. Silver goes well with a light or wooden door, grey render and door fittings in stainless steel, nickel or chrome. The result is a house number that looks well kept and personal without being overpowering.

Calm and refined

Where black gives a clear contrast, silver is more understated. On a white wall it looks light and elegant, while on dark wood or anthracite brick the sheen really comes into its own. This makes the house number suit both a classic home and a more modern home where you want to add a classic detail. It also adds a neat, classic detail to a garden gate or a porch.

Easy to screw into place

The digits are made of zinc and have small screw holes. With the supplied screws you fix the house number flat on wood; on stone, concrete or render you also use wall plugs. Zinc does not rust, so the house number can stay outside all year round, even on a door that gets a lot of rain. Because the screws go through the front, the digit sits firmly and flat in place.

A house number for your door

At 10 cm, this silver house number is just the right size for a front door, a door frame or a letterbox. That is exactly where, close to the visitor, the fine details of the serifs and the soft sheen look their best, because you see them mainly up close. Place the house number above the letterbox flap, for example, or in the middle of the upper half of the door, so it catches the eye the moment someone rings the bell.

Also in black and bronze

You order this silver 10 cm house number per digit, from 0 to 9. The Merum collection is also available in black and in bronze, all in 10 cm.
